Same - when I first got it, played like crazy then slowed down. When a bunch of friends are over we play at times. I have friends that play theirs non-stop ever since they got it though. The new Metroid is fun, and there are other games that I'll probably put more time into... my 360 is broken though.

It's just that the Wii doesn't have many games that interest me and the other two have games that interest me more than the corresponding Wii games. Can't wait for Brawl though, or Mario Galaxy for that matter.

Not only do Microsoft own Halo, but they retain equity interest. Basically, whatever games Bungie make, go to Microsoft, and if they then decide they aren't interested in them, then they could potentially be released for the PS3/Wii.

I wouldn't expect to see a Marathon 3 for anything besides the Xbox. The split up just means that Bungie no longer have to do everything Microsoft wants. I.E. no Halo 4 anytime soon. Which is actually a good thing, in my opinion. I'd hate to see the series milked to death, like so many other franchises we could name.

As for the Wii, I think it's a great system but it doesn't have very many serious games, it's designed for more casual gamers, rather than the serious ones. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I see the Wii as more of a secondary console, to go alongside the 360 or PS3. The few games it does have are excellent, but I couldn't live with it alone. Brawl and Mario Kart are going to be awesome, but what do we have to look forward to once they're released?

My Wii is my "party game." I bust it out with beer when friends are over.

My PC is my gaming machine. Why own a console, when the best games are on PC? (The Wii is an exception, because it is so casual, that anyone can just pick up a Wii-mote and start palying Wii sports...)

PS3 isn't selling because there are almost no games for it. Xbox 360 is HUGELY popular, and will keep being popular due to Halo 3 and GTA4 soon. Wii is selling because it's Nintendo...and it was always going to sell because of that.

Wintersnowblind: Hopefully this break up will mean that Halo 3 will get released for the PC sometime this decade. Unlike what they did with Halo 2 and it being Vista only and all that BS.

Mordakai: Because there are lots of great games that don't come out on PC (or are 1,000,000 times better on console), Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, God of War, SSX etc.

Fenix: There are plenty of good games on PS3, just obviously none that interest you. You can also say that the Playstation is always going to sell because it is Sony. The other two consoles sold over 100 million units remember. And GTA4 is also going to be on the Playstation, it isn't an exclusive for the 360.

My opinion is that the Wii is very family friendly, which why it's so popular. I have played the Wii at my friend's house, which didn't really live up to its expectations. The games look good on paper, but when you play it.... It's a different story. I'm not saying that the Wii is a bad console, and 360s pwn and every else sucks, it's just that the Wii looks good on paper but when you play, it's not that good.

I do agree on the casual gamer note, I think that Wii is more for families and casual gamers, while the 360 (I own 1 of course) and PS3 are for hardcore gamers.

I hate the Wii. I'd rather spend the money on a PS3 instead of an xBox or a Wii.

I'm happy with my PS2, though, since I prefer computer gaming.

I sold all my consoles...I never played them....

I have though about getting a Wii for parties and such but other than that it probably would not play it much.

And the only reason I might find to contemplate getting a PS3 is Gran Turismo HD...which will be have online gaming feature (finally)

As for MS and the X-Box and X-Box 360 Love or hate them, they did what no one else was willing to do and that is make a console with solid online gaming capabilities. Sony half assed it with the PS2 and the PS3.
